I am team teaching with a psychology professor, Dr Susan Santos, in spring 2012, maybe the first course of its kind, The Social Psychology of Harry Potter. The course will not only do a psychological assessment of the characters and themes, but also the social phenomenon that Harry Potter has created (Wizard rock, fan sites, films, religious backlash, etc). I am a big fan of your music (your CD’s are my constant soundtrack in the car and at work) I was emailing to see if you would be interested in speaking to my students about your work. We are a public community college with unfortunately, a nonexistent budget for paying and transporting speakers. However, if you are interested in sharing your talents, we could arrange a live chat or webcast. I know your insights on your experiences as songwriters, musicians, and Harry potter fans, would be extremely beneficial to the students enrolled in the course. The course starts January 12, 2012, Thursdays 2:00 -4:45 and runs for 15 weeks. Thank you so much for your attention to this matter and any help you can give in sharing your expertise.
