Harry and the Potters Seek Drummer, Not Golden Snitch
DRUMMER AD:
Harry and the Potters Seek Drummer, Not Golden Snitch
Are you a human? Are you able bodied? Can you play drums? Can you pretend that you are a wizard? Can you play upside down in a rotating cage? Can you play without an in-ear monitor? Do you mind jumping on top of your set and throwing up? If you answered yes to some of these questions then maybe you would like to drum with Harry and the Potters. If so you would need to learn at least half of the 2,000 songs we’ve written, also would need to commit to playing a handful of shows each month, and live in New England (preferably not Connecticut). Also be able to commit to light touring. Drummer must play fast. Bonus points if blast beat can be achieved. Drummer must be serious but not serious at the same time – but definitely serious about fun. We are serious about fun. We ALWAYS have fun.
If you are interested in this opportunity please submit audio or video (preferred) of yourself playing a song of ours and a song of your choice. Contact us at harryandthepotters@yahoo.com.
Bonus if you are familiar with DEAD MILKMEN, TMBG, BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, NIRVANA, JONATHAN RICHMAN, FUGAZI, MANOWAR, ANDREW WK, THE MICE.
Also if you are Jay Weinberg you automatically have the job.

Alas, if only I was a New England resident, I would apply in a heartbeat. I love drumming to your stuff, though no one will ever beat John Clardy at this job xD

PS i’m part of a w-rock band on Leaky by the name of The Slug Club. We haven’t recorded yet, but we do have some songs in mind, and it’s very important to know that all of our band members actually PLAY an instrument. XD

You should write a song about your search for a drummer.

I agree with Kristina XD I would totally buy it!

I am not a drummer, but am wondering why not CT? You guys are awesome, and I buy your stuff regardless, just curious as a CT resident. Not that i blame you though. CT is lame and boring in it’s own little way.

Hey. Just thought I would check out your stuff after reading Melissa A’s book.
I’d try out if I lived near y’all… I’m in the Ozarks near Branson here… but no complaints!
About the time that Paul first bought a Pixie’s album, I discovered a band on the same record label called The Reverend Horton Heat.
Hearing them play stuff from Liquor in the Front before the cd release was pretty much my musical awakening.
Just a long winded Howdy from down South.
